[WCA News]

Dear members of our community,
The WCA Board has appointed Tim Reynolds and Sébastien Auroux as members of the WCA Board.
Tim Reynolds, from Boston (USA) has been a member of WCA since 2005 and is an active competition organiser and WCA delegate. Tim made important
contributions to WCA as a member of the Results team.
Sébastien Auroux, from Aachen (Germany) has been a member of WCA since 2008 and is an active competition organiser and WCA delegate. Sébastien
contributed to WCA as part of the WCA Regulations Committee and by developing WCA in Germany.
In the WCA Board Tim will be responsible for the daily operations of the website and the Results team.
Sébastien will be responsible for the WCA Regulations and the follow-up on alleged violations of the regulations.
WCA Board is also evaluating candidates from Asia for a position in the board.
We wish Tim and Sébastien good luck in their new positions to represent our community and further develop WCA.

Vielen Dank!

Freut mich, dass es nun offiziell angekündigt ist. Das Angebot dazu erhielt ich überraschend am Montag (genau wie Tim) und wir sagten beide mehr oder weniger direkt zu. Es ist mir eine große Ehre jetzt soweit oben in der WCA-Hierarchie und hoffe in der Position daran mitwirken zu können die WCA weiter voranzutreiben!

Basti hat also nicht zuviel versprochen, als er versprochen hat, dass sich in der Struktur der WCA "bald" etwas ändern wird...
Auch wenn er warscheinlich nicht wusste, dass es so bald passieren würde und, dass er die Änderung sein würde^^.

Damit ist mir das Board auf einen Schlag um 50 Prozentpunkte sympatischer geworden.

Jetzt können wir also Regeländerungen direkt hier im Forum beantragen?
