I started at 19:08 (better known as 7:08 pm) and finished it around 18:08. My goal was of course to break the world record, but I wanted to solve 5000 cubes aswell. After hour 16 I had massive troubles with my arms and hands! It was by far the biggest pain of my life and I don't know how I finished, but I managed to do it somehow. Hour 15 was so sick, because after a break I tried to beat the world record for the most cubes in 1 hour, which I set on hour 2 and I failed by only 1 cube. But an hour after this I felt racking pains in my arms and fingers and I started to think about the sence of life and why I do crazy things like this.
At the end a BIG THANK to my team of TWO! cubers: David Kerkmann and Michael Gerlt, who managed to film the whole event, while never missing a beat at scrambling! It was an outstanding performance from their side.
